Meet Renisha Howard,
Certified Grief Coach and Founder of
Renisha Howard is just the girl next door who believes in the possibility of living a happy, healed, and whole life beyond your grief if you're willing to do the work. A native of Baton Rouge, La, sister, aunt, and friend set out to bring forth a new outlook on life beyond grief through coaching, affirming, fashion, advocacy, and more. She first experienced grief and loss at the age of eleven with the loss of her mother and would go on to start a non-profit organization, Motherless Daughters Unite for girls and women who’ve suffered the loss of their birth mothers due to unforeseen circumstances. Having suffered several losses of loved ones throughout her young adult and adult life, Renisha was determined to not let her grief define her.
Having experienced such a wide range of loss throughout her life, she has made it her mission to normalize conversations surrounding the topic of grief and loss, and to be of service to those who've also experienced grief and loss at some point in their lifetime while reminding them that there is an amazing life awaiting them beyond their grief if they are willing to do the work. Renisha is a graduate of the From Grief to Gratitude Coach Certification program. She has become a Certified Grief Coach by the International Coaching Federation.
Renisha Howard does not provide counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis or any other form of mental health care treatment or therapy, nor is coaching to be used as a substitute for professional advice by legal, medical, financial, business or other qualified professionals.
